Midi problems emu pk-6 & mpc2000 classic

I just buy a emu pk6.
midi connections are ok (mpc midi out into pk6 midi in & mpc midi in into pk6 midi out)
I create a midi track on my mpc (1A) and I set the receive channel to 1.
I set my pk6 on channel 1 too.

Then, I rec some keys on my mpc midi track.
Then, I create another midi track on my mpc and try to set the receive channel to 2. I set my pk6 to channel 2 and play some basslines.

The problem is: when I change the receive channel in a midi track on my MP, all the midi tracks change to the same receive channel .

so I cant rec more than one pk6 presets on my MPC ! shittttttt

is the pk6 multitimbral?

track two should be set to MIDI:2A which it sounds like you did

Sweetie, hit the MIDI key on your keyboard. Scroll all the way to the end until it says OMNI. Change that to MULTI and change accepted to Yes. You good to go after that. I own that keyboard and i love it to death. Still confused use my pm, aim, or yahoo to hit me up.
