Hello, somewhat new user to MPC2500.....wondering how I load playable songs onto my computer via usb..... I can load sequences but they are in strange format and no use to me on computer....How can I load songs I make on MPC to computer that would be able to listen on there or edit even more? you have to record the music into your computer. the usb port is not used for that. i think the usb is only used to transfer samples.

you will need to record your music into a program like Cubase, Adobe Audition, etc..

You sample its own outputs. Read up in your manual on resampling or do a search in the mpc2500 section.

Suggested Search Terms: resample or resampling

lol if you're going to record the beat back into the machine to resample, wouldnt it save time to just record to your software the first time? whats the point in resampling your beat? i could be wrong, but im confused why someone would waste their time...just record the beat into your editor and call it a night

What if someone doesnt have an good soundcard, cant access a PC all the time, ect.. I mean its a bunch of reasons. Besides you pay over 1000 bucks for a machine at least use 90% of its features. Just how i c it.

Yep indeed your insight is well respected my friend. We both make sense and its just a matter of the producers preference. But i just wanted to through that in there b/c alot of people arent aware of that feature. And when they find out about it they are like mad excited(lol). But um to readers of this topic either way will work. YOU CHOOSE!!
