if you knew what the thrift stores are like up here you wouldn't say that. I wouldn't work in these joints for records. They got like 2 crates, no rotation, basic shit. If i want a remotly rare or good record i'm going to one of 2 places and this is one of them. I collect for coleecting's sake, and am not always trying to see how many cheap azz records i can get (though i do that also). If i see something i want and it's worth the asking price imo, i'll get it. I'm not broke so i don't mind dropping $15 on a old funk/ jazz album if it's dope, and i haven't seen it before. Money doesn't scare me, i'd just like the idea of a work/trade, and i get to hang out in a record shop all day. shit doesn't sound so bad to me. Hanging out in a thrift store all day just to get a better "deal" is missing the point of where i'm coming from.
