what can i use so that as soon as one sample is played in full length the next sample will be triggered as soon as the first one stops. does mpc have a feature for this? or is that why people have a roland sp as well. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS TO USE GUYS?

maybe im not being clear enough. i dont like my body timing on these chopped samples so maybe there was a way to play region 2 region 6 region 1 and region 3 in that order one right after the other mechanically

damn whats wrong with good old fashon programming? it is that hard to sequence it? if you want precise triggering use Step Edit...other than that if u want something done you got to pull your finger out and do it, cause it gonna happen for you on a mpc.

So some of you are saying step edit , and someone said somthing about under mute groups and program mode?

I think there should be some rule if you dont have somthing good to say or informative dont say anything. I mean whats the point of all you guys posting saying cosign or what ever. The only thing that comes of that is shooting the thread starter down and uppping your post count.

If you know the answer and insted of takn the time to share , post rtfm a butch of times is pointless. Sometimes it fits though like if someone is asking what 16 levels does or somthing. Some questions just deserve an answer like RTFM.

but for the topic starter , basically i just chop my sample and create a new prgm. Then befor i do any other sequencing i play with the sample for a good while till i get the sound i want. Really listn to how the sample ends on each pad get into the groove.

I am curiouse to where mute groups can come into this , the only thing i can think of is with the voice overlap feature. The manual say's go to programe mode , push f3, selet the pad you want , if you want it to over lap select poly if not select mono.

I did not want it to come to this, but what we are trying to imply is , step your game up a notch, cause us mpc producers your not required or offered such features, why I dont know but the ways that we have around it are basically to program any events we need.

So for example if i needed a sound to trigger right after another, i just sequence that in, plain and simple. If I needed it to be more precise then i would adjust it in 'step edit' or 'seq edit' and make it come earlier or later.

To be honest that SP feature sounds kool, sounds like it makes life a touch easier, but then, each to there own. dont get fustrated dude....apply your self understand how your tools are meant to be used and how they can be used within your domain. after that you'll be a Monster on your mpc to what you do.
