Do I Need Both Midi And Audio Cables..

to run a VST into my MPC 2500? I've got a Midi interface but not an audio interface. I want to control a VST such as Trilogy with my Midi controller and record it into my MPC. To do this do I need audio cables to go along with the Midi cables? Also if audio cables are needed, could I use the headphone jack as audio out?

Yes you will need both based on your situation. You will either be running the MPC and PC to a mixer or running the PC to the MPC(audio cables) and connecting the MPC and PC for sequencing via MIDI(midi cables).
