how to get a beat from the mpc to a cpu??

how to get a beat from the mpc to a cpu??

Hi, I was wondering how I get a beat from the MPC to my computer. I've saved the beat on the disk but the file won't be recognised when I bring it to the cpu.

Which mpc u have? If u have the mpc1000 or mpc2500 then u could resample your beat and it become an .wav file. If not then take the STEREO OUTS to the LINE IN on your soundcard and start recording. Its real simple and easy fam. Try it. If you dont have any recording software then search for audacity or adobe audition 1.5 they both can be downloaded for FREE on the net.

I've got the MPC2000 but I don't have all that fancy soundcard stuff, what should I do?
