Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I've been through the manual and the tutorial a bunch of times, and still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong (gotta be something simple I'm overlooking). Anyway, my problem is this. I have my drums program set to drum holder 1 and drum 1 (and the corresponding drum pads) assigned to effect R1. Everything is fine here, I have the reverb adjusted how I want it on my drums. I have a guitar program assigned to drum holder 2 and have drum 2 (and the corresponding pads) assigned to M1. Here's where I have a problem. I add some autopan with the modulation block only to my guitar program, and I get all this crazy reverb on my drums (more than I had previoulsy programmed in drum holder 1 and R1) and no modulation on my guitar. I don't understand where this is coming from. I have an independent R1 assigned to drum 1 and multi fx 1 assigned to drum 2. It seems like I can either get modulation on my guitar program in drum 2 or reverb on my drums in drum 1, but not both. Any suggestions?

sounds like m1 stil has reverb on it. Open window on mix in the effect page and turn the rev down.

Thanks for the suggestion, tried it, but still no luck. I think it may have something to do with the patching/routing of the multi fx. Not sure though, I'll keep experimenting.
