Two things you have to understand.
One is I surround myself with a certain type of person who gets the title of friend and second if I wanted a 2500 I wouldn't have a 1k in the first place.
So I couldn't even see the reason to get over on them for that type of return.
Just too big a loss.

Sure, personally I think his friend is an idiot, but that's his problem. Say I'm perhaps a bad friend or whatever, but if I had a 1000 and someone said they preferred it to their 2500 and wanted to trade, I'd do it in a second too. He's his friend, not his dad.

And I certainly wouldn't call him a dumbass after the trade.Now if the friend who had the 25 was smart,he would have sold the 25 ,and got a 1k and invested in a 2000XL fullyloaded and had some money left over to spend.
