Peep this.
Tell me if any of you are experiancing this....

I assign a sound to
A01(kick)
A02 (snare)
A03 (Chats)
A04 (Ohats)

Ok now. With or with out full level on if I hit A01 pad hard it randomly play one of the other 3 and the same with any of the other pads also if you hit the pad with a certain amount of force it does this.

In Program mode yo can actually see it, A01 actually change To A04 or one of the other pads.

The other pads do this to without a sound assigned but you can see the pad name change.

Thats Fvcked up man :?

I rebooted and still the same. What the fvck.

i had this problem too , the day after i installed 1.22 , but i reinstalled 1.21 and after a few restarts it was gone , probably not a hardware issue.
pretty f'ed up.
Just imagine , you set up a live set , worked on it for weeks , you go on stage , start up your mpc , OH GOOODDDD!!!!
you get this bug.

That's is some scary intermittent type shit. If I were gigging with this machine I'd be crapping my pants and have to keep them on until the show is done. Luckily I don't and haven't run into any of these bugs that are crawling around some of your guys 2500's.

I haven't come across this problem with any OS.

I recall someone having a problem such as this. He opened up his MPC and the sensors were not aligned properly. It was easily correctable...at least that is what I remember...

And of course all of your MPC 2500s are under warranty. You haven't had them that long.

This is a problem usually experienced with the cheaper counterpart. Are you sure you actually have an MPC 2500....just joking

I think I do, it can easily be mistaken for a vintage casio with the orange drum pads.

im glad i havent experienced this bug... and as for the live gig... i think id just start hitting pads randomly and hope the crowd thinks its a new trendy type of psychedelic music. "is it suppost to sound like that?!" "YEAAAAAAAAAH MANNN! THATS THE NEW SH*T! WHERE U BEEN AT?!!!! " hahaha as for the fake MPC... wait a minute... now that i look... IKEA! damnit! i thought that was a screen not a recliner! J/K! best of luck to all of you with the haunted MPCs that have minds of their own.

:? Well my machine is doing it again. Im thinking about going in and fixing it myself since I seen the thread about "The Maker" fixing the problem. He explained it well enough for me to give it a try. I just dont want to take 2 weeks out of my time to wait for repairs. I have a project I have to finish so while I am home with my wife on maternity leave I can knock it out.
Dont know when I'll do it but I update you all when I do.
