triggering multiple pads

If you link a kick pad and an 808 pad to be triggered by just the kick pad , will they phase? Or do they always lock up right?

The 2500 sampler is not sample-accurate. So it can phase on some notes, and on some not while playing. But that really depends on the combination of sounds.

Is there any fix for this? Are you telling me that even if I didnt link them, just played in and the another pas played the other on top it still would phase?
I thought these sequencers were rock solid.

i beleive that can be worked around in maybe some pitch adjustment or eq.

Well...

There is usually no phasing if you play any different sounds on top of each other. It's really only a problem if two sounds are very close, if not the same.

Try what Otayo suggested if you run into it, adjust one of the samples very slightly in pitch, so it's not even audible, but fixes the phasing. IF it is phasing at all.
