Whats up Everyone

I got my mp about a year ago but the Zip Broke , but I just recently upgraded to a card reader. However I have a question(s) about the EB effects Board.

Will the Eb 16 Fit/compaitable on the 2000xl Se?

Is it worth it to Buy? I dont use a computer or a Digital Multitrack

How is The Sound quality of the effects ?

Is the Eq strong enough To cut the frequencies of drum sounds in samples?
I want to be able to sample maybe 4 seconds of a song and then chop/cut the drums out of it.

Side note .. I prefer not to use computers. I was considering getting the 2500 or the 1000 just for the on board effects. But if I can get the Effects from the Effects board i wont have to get another MPC....

Thanks ..
I searched this topic but i couldnt find it

yeh tis alright, heres what u get.

Multi-fx:

Distortion
4-band filter (more like an EQ)
Modulation:
Phaser
Flanger
Chorus
Rotary
Speaker
Modulation/Auto Pan
Pitch Shifter
Pitch Shifter and Feedback
Delay/Echo: Mono L, Mono L+R, X-Over L&R, Stereo
Reverb:
Hall, Room
Large Hall
Small Hall
Large Room
Small Room
Gate: Gated 1, Gated 2
Reverse

the eq, isnt as eq'ish as they would have use believe, more like a 4 band filter with q and lfo's. a bit of distortion is required alot of the times you bring out a noticable change in the samples you are affecting, its not bad, i just would wanna spend too much on it, or you might be disapointed. but its good to have an out of sight effects option, that doesnt require extra cables and plugs, all internal ya'll.

The Reverb has uses and the delay is distinguishable.

There are not many delays that like it.

There are better software delays buit the MPC delay can be useful for sure.
