Where can i get one and how much do they run for?

Try akai support at their site or maybe at the roger linn site... probably expensive since they don't make those parts anymore... maybe take it to an authorized akai service center in your area...

when they used to service akai products, i ordered a new power supply for my 3k for about 80 bucks. maybe you can try VST or akai direct

The power supply needed to power these units is the same as those used for computer components.
A heavy duty, three prong plug. These can be found at a computer supply store for a few bucks.

Two things...
1. The MPC 60 classic has no IEC (3 prong computer style plug) maybe the 60 II does.
2. Thats just the power cord. Not the power supply. If the power supply itself is faulty the MPC has to be opened up to fix it. No easy solution there bucko. I only WISH it was that simple tho....... :roll:
