pops

a lot of time i'll find a really dope sample, but it has a lot of pop in it, besides cleaning the record is there anything i could do to clean it up a little, and make it clearer.

Use click and pop elimantor ro something like that when you process your sample on PC/MAC.

Me, I use Sound Forge noise reduction pluginpack. It has a click and crackle removal plug in included. It's not shareware/freeware though.

maybe you can get lucky and chop the sample w/ the pop into two pieces. one sample w/ everything before the pop and the second everything right after. or split the pop right down the middle (into two pieces) and put the attack/decay settings in the params screen to work it may soften it up. hope this helps...

It's cool man. try a wave editor on your PC/MAC, zoom in and smooth out the pop/click so it's not so loud. You will easily see it on your screen.

or set the pop as a loop point and then crossfade the loop point- remember to take the loop off afterwards...
