I need help...maybe its a time stretch thing not sure though

I need help...maybe its a time stretch thing not sure though

OK i got this dope sample off a chinese record and Im trying to get it so i can but some kicks and snares on it....however it doesnt fit exactly in the sequencer...its almost 2 bars. Is there a way to stretch it so its exactly two bars? Thanks alot. Oh yeah Im using a 2500 and Adobe Audition. Thanks.

there is no real answer. its up to you to figure it out.
i don't use the 2500,but there probably is some type of bpm match feature on it. but you should use time stretch as a last resort
what u should do is:
try adjusting the bpm of the sequence.
adjust the pitch of the sample
chop the sample
or figure out your own tricks

Thanks.......i figured out the bpm thing (dropped it to 80) now im trying to get the 2nd sample to fit but it only fits clean at 77 bpms and the change up just doent sound right.....too down tempo. Ill chop it and see if i can get it to work....thanks for the input, Im catching on.

Go into the time strectch screen and change the bpm's from 77 to 80..
That will change the tempo with altering how the sample sounds...
I have an XL though it might be diff on yours

Do I need to chop it before I do a time stretch and change it from 77 to 80 bpms?....its just a one shot 2 bar sample.

Chopping is good cause you can rearrange it and it'll stay in Key.
You can really flip it up and make it Dope, and can fit various BPMs depending on how you play it.

Go into the slice field and turn it into a patch phrase, i guarentee it'll work but it might take a few trys to figure how many times to slice it.
