Song Mode-Sequences on mpc 2000xl

Ive Just been starting to put beats together on mpc 2000xl, when u make ur beats in song mode, is there a certain amount of bars u use for different seqeunces, for example the intro, chorus etc, also how do u make the sequences play at the same time, for example, if you sample something like a melody, how do u make ir play continiously though ur beat

Press shift plus 2 (misc)
then press f3 (2nd seq)
select the seq. you want to play simultaneously
then press f6 (turn on)

When you go back to the main screen you will see a little indicator telling you that 2nd sequence is on . The 2nd seq will then play along with any selected seq.

music is not a text book formula. do what u feel

Vary that shiznit man. Everytime, until you have done it all. Set a trend by producing like you. Unless you want to have a sound similar to someone else....... not that its anything wrong with that
