O.k. here is the deal it's a good idea but here is the problem with computer percission which isn't like computer synths there is a major latency issue when triggering samples from an internal software synth from an external controller from the time played to the time heard which kills your vibe when banging out a beat i've used it with a trigger finger and it was a waste even with changing the buffer size because when you half way throug the song and have audio tracks recorded and want to do more percussion guess what you have to switch the buffer size again, and when you do the computer can't handle the audio of money, now if your just triggering thpads via mouse no problem but i like to bang my beats out so that' why i stopped using logic pro's software synths for drums and copped an mpc 4000
