I was tossing some old milk crates because i have everything on a shelf now and saw that one of them says quote " unauthorized use of milk cases is illegal fine of $300.00 or imprisoment up to 90 days " anyone ever seen anything like that? The law is pennsylvania law act no. 37, 1987.

way back when, they changed the size of milk crates because
we all stole them for the vinyl-they made them just a bit too
small for the albums.
you must have some old ones....sell 'em!!!

B.I.T.D. me and this other DJ took like 15 metal rim crates from the back of this corner store in L.A. - the next week the store put a chain link fence up to lock down all of their crates. Never knew that crates had much value or were worth guarding-- at the same time I never heard of anyone getting in trouble for having crates.

BTW, good move on getting rid of the milkcrates. If you dont use plastic covers over your records, crates can eat your records at the spines pretty quickly because of all the holes/gaps

yea, all the commercial milk crates say that on there. too bad, like the other guy said, they caught on to all of us stealing em for vinyl and now make them just a little bit too small to fit a record.

you probably could have sold them if they're the old kind that actually fit records.
