Okay so i have an mpc and have one drum soud I created I love now ...

I would like to use my asr-10 to do a drum role how do I get that one sound from my mpc to every key on the asr....

this also applys for hit's crash's and orther sounds Piano ect...

where is that and it will lay em out on the asr-10 and do what to my 2kxl pads???

Well you do have the XL and ASR MIDI'd together correct? Well using autochromatic allows an sound to be spread out over the pads AND a keyboard IF the keyboard is MIDI'd to the MPC in chromatic order. Im pretty sure u are familiar with the chromatic scale.

Now there is two things that u can do to help get you started on this.

1.) Search and use the word "autochromatic" within the mpc2000/xl section ONLY.

2.) Read in your manual about autochromatic

right okay now so how do you recamend I have em hooked up for midi....


and how will it records I hit record on the mpc right and play off the asr-10 and it will play the sounds a scale and recordsd them into the track right??



ps I'm at work so I wanna get some know how for when I go home
