2500 trim (data wheel related)

This might sound corny but........
Why do the wheel turn so slow on trim mode???
When you turn the wheel how to make it in a bigger scale instead passing trough every single units on the sample.
That shit is really anoying, i did'n found anything on the manual about that, they just say "Select the End (or start) field and adjust the end point. You can change the end point by turning the [ DATA ]
wheel."

How to make this **** wheel faster????

Press shift and left or right arrow to select digit.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but it does say it the manual.

Sorry for being sucha lazy ass but i don't own a 2500 , it's a friend of mine who got one and he have lost the manual

In trim mode you can use the Q-link sliders to adjust the start and end points. Just hold the After key down and move the left slider to adjust the start point, and do the same with the right slider to adjust the end point

mpc1000 os 3.0x have the best trim mode usability i ever saw in a hardware sampler. It's very simple: instead of sampel units the cursor ingrements in percentage units, like each datawheel unit is 1% os the sample. For precision use zoom in function. That works great and makes chopping much faster and precise. Probably this will be implemented in the new os for 2500.
