Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

im tyring to pan a sound from side to side and so far all i have been able to do is rename the sample load the sample agian
then go to make stereo sound with a quick .1 sample
for the left side then the right side
ok
but after the second stereo sound my mpc 60 II freezes ???????????
yo if i didnt love the sound idd probably kick it
so is it possible for me to some how tweek out a panning trick for this or do i have to get another piece of equipment to do this ....and no i dont have any comp soft or hardware just the 60 (well i have the asr10with a sound model and S950 but im want to do this souly on the 60)
the help would be like givin a bum a fresh buger and fries

So your trying to do something like double time hats that play side to side like some newish clubby ish?

What id do is, play double time just with one hat. Then make a new pad with the same hat on it, now go into stepedit, and on all the "ands" swap the old hat to your new hat, (deleteing the old hat) . Now just go into drum mix, and pan one hat hard left, one hard right.

That what you mean?

no not at all
just had a dope piano and effect behind it i wanted to pan left to right and then time shift the l/r ...
but i got it
but anyway thanks for the extra on the step edit ima use that in a later track
since i wanna learn how to use just the sixty II before i midi all my stuff together
