Does HD size limitations on the 2000 Classic apply to MC?

I've read that the MPC2000 classic can only access 1G of hard drive space for external SCSI devices. Is this the same with memory cards? Will the 2000 only see up to 1G of memory card space?

The MPC2000 CLASSIC treats all SCSI based storage media devices with the same limitations.
