Yo man, chill... just cuz it's rackmount doesn't mean it's vetical. That could be mounted on a slide-out tray, or just on top of a short rack, not necessarily vertical.

BTW, nice piece Henning...

it's actually put on top of the rack that u can see here and the rack itself is standing on my desk. since my room is only 7 or 8 m² small i could not do it like everyone else and put everything on huge desks but its all in this rack now. it is big fun to work with it now cause its just right there where my hands use to be when i stand, although i can still sit on my chair and even look at the display

that's pretty cool man, just make sure it gets proper ventilation. should be cool though. do you leave your 1k in the same place or do you carry it around? is it easy to move?

i'm a bedroom producer so i don't carry my stuff around, should be easy though as long as there is someone who can help me carrying the rack which is quite heavy due to the other sound modules and the midi keyboard which can be found in it...

BEHRINGER RX 1202 FX quite a simple one but at least it does save some space.

Cool. What's the sound quality like?
I'm thinking of buying the ART 418 to take a few channels from my samplers.

hmm i'd say if you do not belong to those who can hear the grass growing the behringer is a good choice ;) better (editable!) fx and some fx sends would be cool but for 195€ i really would not want to complain...
