When i chop my sample i load them into the pads and i know to keep them from cutting out you set it to POLY in params. but when i do that once i hit the pad it plays the whole chop on the pad even if i hit another pad. so basically what i want is to be able to not have the audio cut out but have the sound cut off once i hit another pad. thanks

so do the opposite of that and set it to MONO. then when you hit a pad it will stop the playback of the previous sound in that program.

i think that post above sounds backwards.

if when you hit the pad then hit another pad, after letting go of the first pad, it finishs the sample from the first pad and plays the sample from the second?

if thats the case, would you not want to select the pad you do not want to play after you let the pad go to "one shot" not "note on".

cuz i thought one shot was you hit the pad and when you released the pad the sample stopped, and note on would play the sample right to the end after letting the pad go.

but maybe im backwards.

mute groups... i think is what you are trying to use.. ie pad 1 mute group 2 pad 2mute group 2 when you hit pad 1 and play thesample.. then hit pad 2 it will stop pad 1sample fromplaying when the next pad in the same mute group is hit hope you understood.. hope that is the answer you were looking for

Hey man I think you are lookin for something else....you need to set your mute groups....I think what you want to have happen is your note cuts off when you hit another pad....go into program and then the screen that you use to set your poly and mono settings....and go down to mute group....all the pads that are on the same mute group will mute eachother....so yeah hope that helps
