in os 2.01 i found a new bug. it doesnt do this after i turn it off . but when ur in step editor and u move alot of notes to a new position itll start copying incorrectly. like say for example u played abcd itll paste what u moved or copied as dddd or somthin else. its weird but i even erased the other tracks so its only that one 16 level piece and it still does it. i even switchd to midi and used my sound module and it does the same even when i make a brand new track it cant copy correctly. weird isnt it. anyways i like to call this bug the "naugie hoodenie" or "naugies legless boojangles"

this gets even weirder. i just reocorded a note useing the arpegiator on my korg micro. now in step editor when its recording notes it saids 00.00.?? all of the positions say that. but it only recorded the first key that i hit it didnt record the rest weird isnt it? ill leave my mpc off for now its deffinately a software issue and i hope akai will fix this. ya these bugs only happen if u use the stepeditor religiously.

I noticed my step editor totally freaking out the other day, a little different to what you described though. What it ended up being was my midi controller was sending some sort of data that was unintened, as I wasn't using it, but when I was editing it was being recorded in step edit. So i'd try and edit one step, then all of a sudden a new random step would be recorded, and another one... I didn't know what was happening cause I wasn't even touching it. I just disconnected the midi cable and it was all good.
Not the best explaination, but just thought i'd throw it out there incase anyone is having similar problems.

OS 2.10 SUCKS and should've had all the exisiting bugs fixed a long time ago.

upgrade to 3.05 (which is required for when the NEW OS 1.0 becomes available on Wednesday).
