The 2000's have more features over the 3000. The only real advantage the 3000 has over the 2000 is how it's sounds; and even that is debatable. I love the way my 2000xl sounds, and I have various older samplers that I can use to get similar results. Since you already use the XL, the biggest advantage it has over the older MPC's is folder support. If you use a zip disk with the 3000, you have to name every sample that you save. If that doesn't bother you, then you should be ok with the 3k. The few edititing features the 3k doesn't have can be done with some additional hardware.

It's best MPC ever made! Just be fortunate, you have an MPC.
