as many of us i have lots and lots of drumsounds and i am not sure which way is the best to deal with them working on the mpc. i do not want to use the same drumkits all the time so making certain pgms with different kicks snares hats etc. does not seem to be the right way. (except for pgms containing only samples from one specific machine of course)
first idea: i could create different pgms with 1 type of sound per pgm, so i would have one with kicks another with snares etc.. advantage i can browse through sounds real quick, disadvantage i can only access one type of sound at a time
second idea: put the samples into folders on the flash card and browse through them and pick out those i want to use at the moment and make a pgm with them
any other ideas?
