I wonder what the purpose of a MPC 3500 would be anyway?

How can it distingiush itself from the other MPC's?

I wonder the same thing... unless it becomes what the MPC2500 should have been.

People had the same reaction when I announced the MPC-500 two months ago...

It would make sence to build a MPC3500 based
on the same platform as the MPC1k / MPC2k5 but
with a full featured sampler and digital I/Os (ADAT).

Firewire that is able to stream all your samples into the DAW of your choice.

16 or so virtual channels through firewire would be the way to go.

ADAT would mean another device.

All I know is that this shyt is going to happen but I would wait until 12/07 to put it out just so there is time to address technical problems before the next debut of another machine.

That would be so sick if you could track straight from the MP into the computer via firewire AHH!
