I don't see where my question was answered there. It says 4 pad banks...which means A, B, C, and D... but not if when you are in a program...you can stack 4 different samples on top of each other on each pad...unless I'm blind.

I may have read about it on another link from the many mpc500 threads. I'm tired as hell, trying to stay awake, so I may be wrong.

I can soooo live with another mpc being released.
And whoever complains about old machines being full of bugs and shyt, c'mon , if you know what you are doing there is nothing really going on in terms of major bugs.
Sure there are minor imperfections , however there is nothing that stops you from making actual beats. I am sure the price will be a bit crazy at first but most likely it will drop in a matter of weeks/months.

ive been waiting for a sampler/sequencer that is really portable and runs off batterys since i was 16. I love my 1000 but sitting on the train writing would be lovely....

When they re on the 2nd hand market in a while i might get one....

Where the hell can you get a 3k and an SP for less than $799? Call me lame, but I'd take this machine over the 2000 any day.

i wouldn't pay more than prolly 450 for this thing. maybe 550 if i had money i felt like burnin.
no wav form editing? ugh thing will prolly feel like workin with the old asrx lol... on the real i am glad it's not some software crap. i hope mpc's cancontinue in the hardware realm. i'm just waiting on an updated flagship mpc i guess. though i've wanted a battery powered mpc this just doesn't feel like this is it.



oh an BTW how can this work with 1000 and 3000xl programs if it only has 12 pads (what happens to those samples assigned there?)
