Its smaller....but better then the 4k?...HELL NOOO!!!!

You can get the 1k in colours 'black or red and blue.

that and portability are probably the only things that the 1k can provide that the 4k cant.....

4000 is best feature wise definitely

it comes down to whether you want it all in one box, or if you want to work w/ something else as well.

1000 doesn't have MANY MANY of the sampling stuff of the 4000, to the point where i dont even know what i'm missing half the time.

huge question though, i mean...grandson or granddaddy?

I don't argue that 4k is better than 1k but what exactly?? I got 1k and can you tell me why should I empty my credit card for 4k?? What are the main functions that are better than on 1k?? And what 1k is missing instead of 4k?? I would appreciate any answres cause never worked with the MPC King!!

hell neither have i, besides the occasional GC conjugal visit. i just know it has a lot more sampling options. i'm content with the 1000 though, right now.
