what works?

mmm anyone know where recordable track mutes is ?

Ok if you want to recod track mutes highligh the MUTE section on the main screen and hit WINDOW and set it the even to ON , then go to TRACK MUTES SCREEN and start recoding now just hit ON/OFF,s on any track and it will play them back as you muted them

It seems it records the mutes on each track, so it makes STEP EDIT look all cluttered but it only actually records the mutes for the track you were muting

I think he just needs to fix it so the recoded mutes actually only show in the tracks that you recorded mutes for.

So far im loving this feature

HOW TO CHANGE SWING IN REAL TIME WITH QLINK SLIDER

i try but it seems doesn't work here...

In the Main page click T.C. (F1)

Assign q link sliders to Swing (F3)

Go to grid page (Mode+PAD15)

Click Shift+Tap Tempo to see swing and shift value

Try moving the slider... it works, it changes the Swing but here NO SOUND DIFFERENCE even if i see the swing % change with the slider movement

HOW TO DO IT??

The MIDI Time Code is tight as f*** !
its works super with live - using the mpc as midi seq and live as rack rawks !

also triggerin samples from your mpc program?

be sure to set the MTC frame rate to 30 and send MMC to On. with MMC you can control the sequencer with your mpc play, stop, foward & back knobs - highly recommended !

i was just trying it w/ acid. this is my first experience with mtc, gotta say i was pretty clueless. it woudln't really sync up rigth with acid but i just need to toy with it more.

this is the function i was waiting from years... a real time akai swing during play....

logic works with MTC but need to change setting as describe before someone )smpte 0,0,0,0)

nobody's is confused. several persons have been asking for simult sequence.

its really strange. when i strike a key on my masterkeyboard i dont hear anything... then i strike the same key again and it triggers the sample....i strike it again and it refuses to trigger the sample for a numerous of times and all of sudden it will strike again. its varies every time..... HELP!

but not as many people asking for "simult" linking PADS!
