so i just bought my MPC, and im trying to be the smallest noob possible, but alas it will happen.

this is my situation, i have a sample chopped on my computer that i want to load into my MPC, so i connected it via the USB and dropped the sample (.wav file at 16 bit 44) into my autoload folder(went through my computer>f>autoload. so i tried to load it up by following the manual, and it said insufficient memory, so i went ahead and took everything out of the autoload AND internal memory folders (all the sounds etc.) and tried again, yet still , insufficient memory.

i really dont kno what im doing wrong, im sure ill get it eventually, but any help is appreciated.

that's gonna be the problem. go ahead and work w/ the stock sounds for now and learn the machine while you wait for your ram to arrive after you order it from newegg

lol, newegg is a no no in canda unfortuantely, always busts my balls when people send me there lol. anyways, so theres no way i can take off ALL the internal sounds, and all the stuff on the card, and load this 500kb sample to a pad?

and btw, even tho im deleting all the sounds out of the folder, there still on my MPC, how do i actually get rid of them
