CF card reader for the 2000xl?

Okay, i searched everywhere. I assumed it would be quite easy to find.

but whats the deal with CF card readers for the 2kxl? I heard about people buying the MCD drives to accompany the older model.

If so, where can you find them and how much?

oh wait, just one more thing. what exactly would i be looking for? just any IDE ATA to CF Compact Flash Internal Memory Card Reader?

mpc 2kxl.

hmm...I'm not sure if any IDE card reader is going to work properly.There were topics and posts some time ago about this subject.

I meant to say that there should be a thread that is permantley stuck to at the top of this forum that is regarding this topic.

Did you have to buy the mounting kit as well?

What mounting kit ? I just bought the drive ripped out my zip drive, put in the card reader, no mounting kit needed.
