Newbie Question???

I know this might sound stupid to most of yall cats on here that are already established with your MPC's but Im a new cat bout to get in the game and don't know what to buy yet, Im interested in a 4000 but I wanted to know what is the difference between the Le and the plus and I keep reading about problems with the OS, can anyone explain what that is to me??? sorry if I sound like a moron but Im a MPC virgin right now, thanx

Is AKAI still makin' the LE? it ain't on their US website.
Me thinks the LE's the "naked" model, no options cards, no memory, no drives. The Plus's got 272MB RAM, 80Gig HD, CD-RW and the stereo digital In/Out + word clock in.

i just picked up the LE : 16mb and IB4D digi option. $1800 USD.

i nabbed it so i can upgrade, components running cheaper than AKAI is reselling them.
