song play back issue

When I program my sequences into a song, when I play it back it stars stuttering and playing back all f---d up when it switches from the first to the second sequence. please help

you have obviously taken something very simple and made it way harder than what it is.

song mode is incredibly simple. Just make your seperate sequences then make a list of which ones you want to play in song mode and select how many times you want each sequence to repeat.

then hit play

voila

ah, yeah thats exactly what I did. When it switches from the first to the second sequence it plays back parts from other sequences and other types of tish.

maybe you need to make sure that the parts in the first sequence don't overlap into the next sequence. It won't autmatically cut off a sample that is in the first sequence. just another reason to chop small.

also see MONO/POLY in the manual.

you are not making your sequences correctly if this problem keeps happening. you'll figure it out.

when I switch them manually it switches over no problem, just in song mode

Try to reinstall your OS! Your problem seems to be weird!

Then you have to bring it to some AKAI guys! It can be a problem of motherboard! Or wait some other more experienced users to help you! Can't imagine what else could it be!

One more question - is this with all your songs or only some??

Only some, I took my flash card with the songs that I'm having the problem to Guitar Center and put it in one of their 1000's and it did the same thing so I don't don't know what the problem is.

Well! It's obvious that it's CF problem! If it didn't work in another MPC then it's the CF problem! Try using another one and then report the results!

I must be doin' somethin wrong because it happened again on a different Flash Card, maybe a program error?

i doubt anyone is gonna be able to help you on this one. you might be able to get someone to upload your project files into their MPC and see if they know what you did wrong. but people probably won't have time for that.

Man, looks like it's motherboard! Search for AKAI guys! That's only I can suggest! The problem is not so simple to fix it by yourself! Good luck and keep ya head up cause the 1k is worht it!
