I have mpc 2000xl what is the difference between the 3000 and the 2000xl can the 2000xl do the same as the 3000 I have heard that you can connect more midi equipment tothe 3000

THe 3000 has 64 midi channel outputs that you can sequence.

I think the 2000 only has 32, with 2 midi outputs to the 3000's 64.

If anybody is using 64 midi channels at one time I would love to hear the result.

I've used as many as 14 midi devices in the XL and still have midi channels left over.
