where is the best place to buy an mpc1000 in the US

i'd like to order one with the 128 mem upgrade but cant decide on where to buy.....anybody have any suggestions on the cheapest price, fastest delivery, etc.?

i got the mpc 1k for 879.00 wiht a 10ft usb cable out the door

i got mine off ebay, the seller was rainbow guitars

$879 free shipping, no sales tax.. word. it was actually cheaper than buying it locally, and it came with 2 day shipping

full warranty, brand new in an unopened box and all that. i even got my free gig bag in the mail (the free bag coupon came in the mpc box)

I got mine brand new in box on ebay with a 256 mb compact flash for 815 shipped.

As long as the seller has positive feedback over a few, with no negatives, you should have no problem. The major music dealers on ebay will have hundreds of positive feedback with no negatives. Those are the ones to look for.

Depends on whay your buying and who's selling it. I actually got screwed for 1g for a mpc 2000 like a year and a half ago. If you can't use a credit card don't purchase anything too expensive b/c when ish hits the fan ebay turns its back. I used a money order and got screwed. This prick riped off about 20 of us (all buying music gear). If you buy using a credit card most of them protect against internet fraud and identity theft- so if you get had then they pick up the tab. Just be careful and make sure they have over 50 feedbacks before buying anything large. The cat that ripped me off had good feedback until he scammed everyone the same day. and trust me nothing sucks worse than waiting like a little kid for the ups truck to bring your MPC- only to relize its never coming muthaf%%a. I'd trade the money just to have 5 mins to inflict pain.

I bought mine from turntablelab.com. Though you may have to call them afterwards to confirm your order. Actual shipping time was two days (it went from NY to NC). I haven't had any problems ordering from them in the past, and I like supporting the little guys I would recommend them if you're on the east coast.

Yeah, I just got mine from there & my deciding factor to get the 1000 was the $100 instant rebate PSSL.com sent me in my email. So I got mine for $779.99 !!!!! Nice stuff!
