MIDI time code issue using Cubase sx2 and mpc2000

hi I am receiving a slight delay in cubase when slaving the mpc2000. can u resolve why there is a slight delay? im using a digi002 rack as my interface

Try solving the problem from the software side,maybe there is a midi clock or midi time code 'delay setting' in cubase ? In ableton 5 there is,and it's easy to get rid of the delay,cause you can push the setting forwards or backwards in 300 ms.Works fine for syncing my 2000xl and ableton.

If your sequence is BPM based then use MIDI beat clock and not MTC.
Also reduce the playback buffer size in the 002 sound manager. The playback buffer effects the latency(delay) of the 002. The lower the buffer the less delay but bigger chance of dropouts

One other thing. The 002 is notoriously bad as an interface with anything other than protools. I guess that Digidesign don't like people using other software with their hardware.
