2000XL OS -> JJ team?

Would be really nice if the JJ team could treat us 2000XL users with some nice addons. even just one, like the recordable track mute for example. I know the 2000 is old, but maybe the OS is simular to the orginal 1000 one. Don't know if there are any bytes free in the EEPROM.

i wonder why they cant update the XL?

Jacpot, cause they wanna sell more MPC's. Thats the one reason I hate Akai, they forget about the people who help them become a staple.

Nah I mean the people that hacked tha OS for the 1000 and 2500

Yeah Im starting to think that too...

The only updat I would want is to have the option to use more than four programs...
Although not needed, it would be a nice addition to have it available.

The 1k/2k5 and the 2k's have different processors. Presumably they don't know how to code for the 2k's.

im sure they could chuck a few more params on the NV slider without it using to much cpu.
