sample help?

im new to the 2kxl and have just started sampling stuff, when i press the pad with the sample on a couple of time the sounds overlap . i was wondering can it be set so that when i press a pad the sound play, but when i let go it stops, kinda like how the drums sounds are on the mpc (where you can press it like 10 times and it doesnt overlap)

have you even checked the manual before posting ?

it didnt come with a manual and whenever i try to get the intermet ones to work it crashes

Swith NOTE OVERLAP from POLY to MONO or NOTE OFF.

thanks for that, sorted it out. is it possible to boost the vocals on the samples, to try and cut down on the background music, without the effects board you can get

You can use the built in mixer.
