Sudden Sound Distortion Problem

Hey just upgraded from my classic to the MCD XL on labor day, and have recently been having a problem. When I have like 3 or 4 programs loaded, with approx 6000k left, sometimes when i have multiple programs running in the same song it will tweak out and distort the sounds, almost like its going from 16 bit to 8 bit or something. Has anyone ever had this? I installed the eb16 and the ram, and when i was installing the ram i had to bend a pin because it was in the way.... did that screw it up? Any help would be appreciated.

PS I searched for sound probrems, and distortion and some other things and didn't really find anything.

maybe u are just saturating the output bus(bein used to just one prog per time, u now are mixin more sounds)
and remember that saturatin in the digital domain is ALWAYS bad, and means clipping.

yeah you're probably right, i went through and cut down some tracks and better organized my programs and it hasn't happened since. Thanks a lot!

I'm havin' tha same prob. wit the classic...whenever my RAM STICKS ACTUALLY WORK All the sounds start to distort after awhile...I'm thinkin' its the ram...

Where can I send this thing to get it checked out?
