how do i add swing to my beats on the XL?

PLlleasse hellp me someone!! i cant figure out how to add human feel (swing) to my beats. ive looked through the forum trying to see but i just cant seem to figure it out,.. . what is "Quantizing" and how do i do it? please someone help me for the love of god.!

In the main screen where you record sequences, hit the open window button when you're highlighting the time field. There's a swing option there if you've not selected triplets (3).

Never thought I could answer a lot of question after only spending so little time with my mpc. Of course, I read the manual first.

All you have to do is click the search button...

Search works great...

A couple times I asked some pretty tough questions on here...

But I found my answere after I clicked the SEARCH button before anyone ever replied

I hate it when people ask the same questions. They come here if they can't find the answer in the manual. And post if they actually looked for a question no one can answer. If you read throughout the forum topics, you see the same questions posted and most of them answered.

thanks reckone for helping out. for the record i did use the search to find the answer and was unsuccessful. my beats bang next to anybody but i will admit to being a newbie, can somebody still help with quantization?

QUANTIZE = ROBOTIC SOUND
NO QUANTIZE=HUMAN FEEL(SWING)

I disagree with the robotic thing. That robotic sounds depends on how you use quantize.

Human feel is pretty easy for me as I was a drummer for over ten years
I find the MPC2KXL a great and intuitive machine but now I need to get into the processing of samples and production of the tracks rather than the arrangements.
