NV Slider and MIDI

So whats good with the NV slider in a MIDI setup? does it work the same way? I only use the 2k for sequencing, I dont use the internal sampler so what uses can I put the NV slider to if any?? thanks

as said, in this forum AND in the manual, the NV slider can RECEIVE midi cc but CANNOT TRANSMIT it...
