OS Upgrade problem

I have attempted to flash my os however once it completes, I get a blank screen.

The window button responds but there is no visual display - even after a reboot nothing happens.

I can flash back to the original bios so I can at least use my mpc, but would like to try out the new os's

This happens on both Akais os v2.1 and jj's os v3.05

Has anyone seen this before or know how to get around this?

It appears to boot, but there is no display, and none of the pads work

A long shot I know but may it be cos I've only got 16Mb RAM (awaiting delivery of 128Mb RAM and 100Gb HDD)

did you try holding down shift and spinning the data wheel both ways?

thats got to be it man. It happens alot.

If you got OS 3.05 installed display contrast is adjusted by spinning the datawheel while holding STOP.
If that doesn't work, power up while holding erase.

ahhh, i guess its different on 3.

when i upgraded to 3.05 i never had that problem.

Nice1 Cowbell, seems holding erase did it - what does that do by the way, is it some sort of BIOS reset or something?
