I know all the new features are superb etc (grid edit pages, new chop and looping implementation and all that good stuff) - but is anyone else really glad that JJ has totally simplified the way of naming things (samples etc)?

I really really like the new way the alphabet comes up when you go to rename - or name for that matter - a sample. What can i say - I'm a simple man! - So much easier!

Alphabetical browsers in the load and save pages too make life that little easier!

Hurrah for JJ!

JJ rules! I bet alot of folks who sold their mpc 1000's due to " timing correct issues" are screaming into paper bags. I personally think that this is the HOTTEST beatbox around. based on the price and the bomb @$$ support that we have thanks to JJ! 8)

JJ work is definitely very professional. Not only he is a developer, but he has great interface design skills. The new os is not only about features, is about ease of use and workflow!
MPC 4000 apart, mpc1000 has now the most advanced and friendly software of all mpc's, ever. No doubt.

Co-sign. I'm glad I left the old OS on for a few weeks before changing over to the new one. I can appreciate it so much more. It truly is all in the details.

Yeah - Workflow has increased here - so much easier to do the all important housekeeping tasks now that were a bit tedious before (typing in names with the pads like you were using a mobile phone was a major pain in the neck.) - Now though - so much easier

yeah! some of my pads are a little jacked from years of playing. so the scrolling alpha-numeric feature for naming samples is awesome! naming samples is VERY IMPORTANT and will most likely prevent directory gliches when saving.
