whattup anand? i guess you're probably wondering why no one has gotten back to you! well, it's because this question has been asked over a gazillion times and peeps on this board want newcomers to get accustomed to using the search function! i don't have a korg but i have a roland keyboard that i work with in my studio and after diligently searching I found my answer. Through searching for my answer, i came across several threads that discussed how to hook up various korg keyboards and racks to the MPC! From what i can remember, your korg board needs to be in what they call "multi" mode in order to be able to use 16 channels(16 different instrument/sounds) on the MPC. Also, when bringing in those sounds from the keyboard, your MPC and keyboard must be setup on the same channel. For instance where it says 'DRUM:OFF'......that should be switched to say 'MIDI:1A'....that means that whatever keyboard instrument/sound is on your keyboard's channel 1 will be the sound on your MPC's 'MIDI:1A'!! If you want to add another keyboard instrument/sound just simply go to channel 2 on your keyboard and change your MPC setting to 'MIDI:2A', etc., etc. And oh, don't forget to set the MPC to receive the midi data in the midi screen!! Oooooooops, you didn't specify what MPC you're using. I have the MPC 2000, so everything i just said relates to that. hope that helps a little......Peace
