I was thinking the other day man...I gotta order records (specific ones) that I am sampling.

Basically my method is to dig online...listen to the tunes and keep a log of what I need when I go actual diggin' so I know what i'm looking for. Or when I place an order over the web to get specific records.

Then I thought...you know what would be the illest idea?

If you took actual whole records and recorded them via USB or firewire at the correct sample rate into .wav format and sold them online.

Like if I were to place an order with the shop...you basically would record the specific records and sell them for a certain price...also giving royalties to the artists sampled.

1. You would'nt have to sell the record.

2. People that would want samples and recordings quick fast could have them via Paypal.

3. It's convinient as hell.

4. You make a million dollars by being the first company ever to do this. Sort of like Ebay.

What do you think of that?

royalties for the recording like a pay MP3 site but in .wav format for the records you choose...so a percentage of the sale would go to the artist just like buying a CD online.
