Exactly what I mean.....

So, is this a confirmed bug? If so, it should be fixed in another day right?

Also, if one buys a new 1000, shouldn't Akai..er...I mean JJ give you the OS for free?

...

I dunno but jj/akai is working on a new o.s. for the 2500. and i imagine that it would cost.... maybe $30 but since the 2500 is a superior machine and all it'll probably cost $40. God knows what treats are in store for 2500 users such as yourself! Arent you excited about this jahrome? or would you rather stick to the dodgy support of the akai/jj o.s?

I know how to use an MPC so I really don't need support. And I have not encountered any bug that prevented me from using my MPC 2500. I am a long time MPC user...not some cat that just started using it because he heard his favorite producer uses one.

I like the OS/menus the way they are now. Its still similar to the classic MPCs. If I wanted a bunch of stuff in the OS, I would get an MPC 4000.

But this thread isn't about me and my MPC. Its about OS bugs with the JJ OS. So lets stay focused and talk about the bugs..real/perceived.

so far ive had no bugs with my 1k w/ 1.05. maybe im just lucky. Alot of the times when i thought i had "bugs" they were strictly USER ERROR. This is pre JJ. And since my style of making beats is sample based all these new features are like icing on a delicious cake (the workflow is awesome!) are you thinking about buying an mpc 1000 jahrome?

you know like having something to babysit the 500?

I am not really sure what toy I will add next. My Horoscope tells me to stop spending money...especially on shite I don't need. Do you really think I put so many hours on both MPCs??

But it is unlikely that I will buy a 1000 because it is an older model and not much to talk about anymore. The MPC 500 seems to be a potential conversation piece.....

Yeah,
Had the no sound problem after using USB transfer, however doesn't appear to be major annoyance, also at the same time input thru is disengaged. Enjoying the updated OS, the TC via sliders is very nifty. Also I have never had a system error etc. since I reverted to making a new folder for an on-going project, ie never save over the old one.

over and out
