Gotta a whole load of beats that i wanna record into Cubase SX but the volume of the signal is very low even when it's peaking on my mixer. I plug stereo out into mixer channels then into my soundcard. When i listen in the headphones in the MPC it is loud but when it goes through stereo output it's a different case. What to do what to do?

check Cubase...Cubase SX you can adjust the volume going into it through the actual program...I have Cubase free as F*ck and it doesn't have that feature haha

I dunno since i don't have it, check out a bookstore for one of those Cubase Ignite or SX tutorials..I have one but haven't had time to read it

that or go to the cubase forums

what kind of soundcard are you using?

I have an echo miamidi and it has it's own mixer to control whether it's unbalanced/balanced etc..

if you're using the regular windows media mixer, check that the input/record volumes are up as well..

The headphone jack is louder than the outs.

"The headphone jack is louder than the outs."

That's the one there. The headphone is louder than the stereo outs. What part of the game is that?
