Controller 7 in Sequence

Hi,

I'm using a MPC 2500. I put a controller 7 Event (Volume) by STEP EDIT in a DRUM-Track. There is no reaction on the MPC. It works fine in a MIDI Track. Is there a parameter to set? Also no reaction when I send controller 7 over Mídi to the MPC.

in the back of the manual is a midi implementation chart, maybe look there if its implemented. i think when u get no reaction thru midi then maybe its not 7 or u are sending it to the sampler instead of sequenzer.

The track must be MIDI to use controller signals. Why do you want drum on the track? Just make another track for the Drum.
