Scsi For Samplers

I recently just purchased my card reader from them. I cant really find anything in the manual, and the only things that i have found on here are in regards to 2000xl not the 2000. How many megs would the compact flash card have to be? I know the zip disks im using are 100meg. Would any size work and then i would have to partition? Thank you.

Just out of curiosity have u asked/contacted them? They have real good customer support just incase u didnt know.

no. I didnt think they would be able to tell me what size card would work with my mpc.

alright, well it looks like upon further reading of their site 128mb is the limit for the cr-3.

See what happens when u go back to the original source.

What a crock.

The CR-3 is a regular PCD-47B in a bog stock external case ... no tricks.

The CR-3 PCD-47B will work with CF cards bigger than 128 mb.

Of course the MMC slot for orginal SMART MEDIA cards is limited to 128 mb but as you would more than likely use CF cards then this is a non issue. ( and INMHO, MMC Smart Media Cards are junk )

You will find NO such info of a 128 mb limit.

I use a friends 2000XL regularly with a PCD-47B and 1GIG SANDISK CF CARD ... works fine.

so a gig should work for the 2000 correct as long as its partitioned.

A 1GIG card will be treated by a 2000 CLASSIC as a ... 1GIG hard disk.

26 PARTITIONS A-Z of 32 MEGABYTE each.
